Blue Light

Blue Light is everywhere, and unavoidable.  Most exposure is from the sun, but artificial sources of blue light are increasingly prevalent.

Some blue light is beneficial, but too much can cause digital eye stress with symptoms like tired, dry eyes, headache and blurry vision. Disrupted melatonin production resulting in mood disorders, sleep disorders, and lowered alertness and reaction time.  Premature aging of the retina, which may accelerate macular degeneration.

UV technology offers protection to combat eye stress by absorbing up to 90% of the most harmful range while allowing beneficial light through.

Everyone needs UV protection:
