Employee Spotlight: Dr. Jerry Mariano, MD

Hello! I’m Dr. Jerry Mariano. I joined Bonner Eye Clinic in 2001 as an ophthalmologist after finishing medical school at the University of North Dakota and ophthalmology training in Detroit and Cleveland. I treat a broad spectrum of eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. I also enjoy performing refractive surgery (iLasik and PRK) on patients to give them the best vision possible at an affordable price. My favorite part of my job is being able to give my patients the best vision possible with either eyeglasses, eye drops, or surgery!

I met my wife, Jenni, in college and we have been happily married for 25 years. We have five children that range between the ages of eight and 21 and a Cavapoo dog, Maezie Moo. In my free time I love spending time with my family and taking them to get ice cream at Dairy Queen. Music is one of many predominant hobbies in our household as I’ve taught myself and my children how to play multiple instruments. These instruments include the following: piano/keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and the cajon!
