Abby Sperr, O.D.
Abby Sperr, O.D. is a native of Hawley, Minnesota, and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Bemidji State University, where she was recognized as a National Science Foundation STEM Scholar. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Chicago College of Optometry at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, graduating with clinical honors.
During her training, Dr. Sperr completed externships at ocular disease clinics in Jacksonville, Florida, and Omaha, Nebraska, as well as a pediatric-focused site in Park Ridge, Illinois. Before joining Bonner Eye Clinic in 2025, she practiced at an ophthalmology clinic in Fargo, North Dakota.
Her professional interests include comprehensive lifelong eye care, management of ocular disease, surgical co-management, and the treatment of dry eye disease. She is also a member of the American Academy of Optometry. Outside of her practice, Dr. Sperr and her husband enjoy traveling, spending time with family, cheering on Minnesota sports teams, and playing frisbee with their dog, Maggie.
